We’re proud to bring the joy of dance to Collingham as the newest member of the Bingham and Hykeham School of Dance family.

At Collingham School of Dance, we believe dance is for everyone, no matter your age, ability, or experience. Our classes are built on the same trusted ethos as our sister schools: qualified, passionate teaching in a warm and inclusive environment where every dancer feels seen, supported, and inspired.

From tiny first steps to confident performances, we offer more than just dance lessons; we build self-belief, creativity, and community.

Meet the Team

BA (Hons), QTS, MBBO

Fran Knight

Fran is a qualified Primary School Teacher and has a Theatre-dance teaching Diploma with the BBO. She has attended Bingham School of Dance since the age of 4 and now teaches at the school, specialising in Tap. As a teenager, Fran was an associate at the Urdang Academy, London and whilst studying for her degree, completed the BBO's Advanced 1 and 2 Tap exams.

Emma Farrell-Tearse

Emma is a former pupil of Bingham School of Dance. Emma is our new Modern Teacher! Emma holds her Dance PGCE and has previously taught Dance, PE and Drama in Secondary Educational Settings. Emma wants to pass on the passion that was instilled in her as a student for her love of dance.
